A product sheet (product data sheet, fact sheet or spec sheet) is a short document that summarizes one product's features, specifications and ordering details.

What is Product sheet?

A product sheet is a one or two page document that summarizes a single product: what it is, its key features, technical specifications, dimensions, certifications and how to order it. It is also called a product data sheet, product fact sheet, product information sheet or spec sheet (specification sheet). Sales teams, distributors and buyers use product sheets to understand and compare a product quickly, often as a PDF they can download, print or attach to a quote. A product sheet differs from a product page: the page is built to sell online, while the sheet is a portable reference. Both work best when they come from the same product data, so specs and prices match. You can export product data from a PIM into the template or design tool that lays out the sheet.
