Adding a new attribute to a configurable product's parent doesn't push it to existing simple-product children. Each child needs the attribute set explicitly — and missing it on a child silently drops the value from the storefront.
How WISEPIM handles it
WISEPIM tracks attribute coverage at parent and child level. Child products inherit attribute values automatically; deltas are pushed to the right level on every sync.
Magento creates a new URL rewrite entry on every slug change but doesn't always clean old ones. Bulk slug edits across thousands of products bloat the url_rewrite table and slow page rendering.
How WISEPIM handles it
WISEPIM creates redirect rewrites on slug change and exposes a cleanup option that removes orphan url_rewrite entries during a maintenance window.
Magento's indexers (Catalog Search, Product Price, Stock, URL Rewrites) can be 'Update on Save' or 'Update by Schedule'. On 'Update by Schedule', a WISEPIM push doesn't show on the storefront until the cron-driven indexer runs.
How WISEPIM handles it
WISEPIM detects indexer mode at integration setup and warns. Optionally triggers indexer reindex via CLI or admin endpoint after bulk pushes for time-sensitive launches.
Each store view inherits values from the default scope unless explicitly overridden. A 'translated' product can render English copy on the German store view because the German values were never written, only inherited.

WISEPIM detects scope inheritance vs explicit values and treats unset locale fields as gaps — even when Magento renders something via fallback. AI translation fills the gaps explicitly.
