Free, one file, one call

Free data readiness check for one product file

Send us one product file as it arrives from a supplier or leaves your ERP. We check it on five points and show you, on rows from your own file, what stops it from working for your dealers, buyers and channels: empty ETIM features, one width written three ways, GTINs that Excel broke.

  • No cost
  • Your file is not used to train AI
  • Checked by a person

supplier-tapware-2026.xlsx

1,240 rows, 38 columns

Example readout

  • Completeness

Colour is filled on 412 of 1,240 rows. 96 more say "n/a".

  • Units and values

Width comes in three notations: 600, 60 cm and 600 mm.

  • Identifiers

17 GTINs fail the check digit. 9 were saved by Excel as 8.71E+12.

  • Translation readiness

No French titles for Belgian dealers yet. "RVS" and series names need fixed terms.

  • Channel readiness

6 of the 14 fields in your dealer template have no column.

Example findings for a made-up file. Your readout uses your own rows.

Key features

  • Send it as it is

CSV, Excel, XML or BMEcat. No cleanup first: the mess is what we look at.

  • For 5,000+ SKUs

Wholesalers, suppliers and manufacturers whose product data goes on to dealers, buyers or a B2B portal.

  • Findings on your rows

A 30-minute call on a date you pick, then the findings in writing.

What we check

Five checks on one file

Each check answers one question a dealer, buyer or marketplace will ask about your data. For every finding we show example rows, so you can see it in your own file.

  1. Completeness per attribute

What we look atThe fill rate of every column, per product group. Placeholders such as "-", "n/a", "x" or "TBD" count as empty. We also flag specs that only live in the description, such as an IP rating or a width written in the text while its own column is empty.

A typical findingDimensions are filled for taps but empty for most of the shower range.

  2. Units and values

What we look atUnits mixed inside one column, numbers stored as text, and one value written several ways. If you or your dealers work with ETIM, we link your product groups to the ETIM classes you name and score each product against its class: how many of the class features it carries, whether each value is one the class permits, and whether the unit is right.

A typical finding"RVS", "rvs", "stainless steel" and "Inox" in one material column.

  3. Identifiers

What we look atMissing GTINs, codes that fail the GS1 check digit, wrong lengths, duplicates across rows and codes Excel turned into scientific notation.

A typical findingOne GTIN on three different SKUs, and 8.71E+12 where a 13-digit code was.

  4. Translation readiness

What we look atWhether the source text is complete enough to translate, which languages are already filled, and which terms need a fixed translation: brand and series names, norms such as IP44.

A typical findingTitles exist in Dutch only, and half of them are a supplier code plus a colour.

  5. Channel readiness

What we look atYour file against one target: the import template of a dealer or buyer you send us, a BMEcat file with ETIM features for your dealers' systems, the fields your own B2B portal needs, or the requirements of a marketplace such as bol.com, Amazon, Google Shopping or a Mirakl marketplace.

A typical findingBrand, country of origin and packaging unit have no column at all.

We check the GTIN check digit and format. We do not look codes up in the GS1 registry, so a well-formed code that belongs to another company still passes.

What you get back

From file to findings

No form to fill in and no report generator. A person at WISEPIM loads your file into a private WISEPIM workspace and goes through it.

  1. 01

    You email the file

    Today

Send one file to info@wisepim.com. Tell us who it is for: which dealers, buyers or channel, and in which languages.

Add one buyer's import template or required-field list if you have it. Then we check against that.

  2. 02

We confirm and look at it

Within a few hours on working days

We reply to confirm we have the file and ask about anything unclear. Then we run the five checks.

If the file shows WISEPIM is not what you need, we tell you before the call.

  3. 03

We walk you through the findings

30 minutes, on the date you pick

On a screen share, check by check, on your own rows. Bring whoever owns the data: product data, purchasing or the ERP team.

You see which problems block the most rows, and which ones only look bad.

  4. 04

You get the findings in writing

    After the call

A short list per check with example rows, and the three fixes that unblock the most products.

The fixes work in Excel or your ERP too. You do not need WISEPIM to act on them.

How we run it

The same checks WISEPIM runs

Your file goes into a private WISEPIM workspace, so fill rates, check-digit failures and missing channel fields are counted by the software, not estimated by eye.

  • Fill rate per attribute

Every field ranked by how many products have a real value, so the gaps that hurt the most rows sit at the top.

  • GTIN check on import

The CSV import flags every EAN that fails its GS1 check digit, with the row it came from.

  • ETIM conformance

For product groups linked to an ETIM class, each product is scored on the class features it carries, with permitted values and the right units.

  • Channel Readiness

Products checked against a channel's required fields, so you see what each one is missing before you deliver.

Field health in WISEPIM: every attribute ranked by fill rate. This is the view we walk you through, on your own file.

Request the check

Send the file, pick a time

Two steps. Email the file, then book the 30-minute call in the calendar. If you book first, send the file before the call so we have time to look at it.

Step 1

Email one product file

Attach the file and answer the questions in the email we prepare for you.

info@wisepim.com
Write the email

Include in your email

  • One file: CSV, Excel or XML (BMEcat is fine), as it is today
  • Who it is for: which dealers, buyers or channel
  • Which languages and countries it has to work in
  • Optional: one buyer's import template or required-field list

Too large to email? Send one product group or the first few thousand rows.

Remove purchase prices, margins and customer names before you send the file. The check does not need them.

Need an NDA first? Say so in your email.

Step 2

Book the 30-minute call

Readiness check calendar

Before you pick a time

One optional question, then you choose a time that works for you.

How many products? (optional)

Who it is for

Built for catalogs that travel

The check is for companies whose product data does not stop at their own shop: it goes on to dealers, resellers, buyers or a B2B portal.

  • Wholesaler

Send the supplier file you rework every time, in the state it arrives.

You bundle data from many suppliers and pass it on to dealers and your B2B portal. The check shows what that file costs you in rework, and which gaps reach your portal as wrong orders.

  • Supplier

Send the file you deliver to buyers, plus one buyer's template.

You sit between manufacturer and buyer. The check shows why a buyer does not take over your data, or keeps sending it back.

  • Manufacturer

Send an export of one product line from your ERP or spec source.

You have fewer products but many attributes each. The check shows where specs, units and norms break before a dealer or marketplace sees them.

It fits best when

  • Your catalog has 5,000 SKUs or more
  • You deliver product data to dealers, resellers or your own B2B portal
  • Your buyers sit in more than one country or read more than one language
  • Your catalog is attribute-heavy: technical specs, variants, sizes, materials or norms

Typical sectors: installation and sanitary, electrical, building materials, tools and industrial supplies, automotive parts and food B2B. Anywhere a dealer needs the right dimensions, connection sizes, norms and packaging units before they can sell the product.

A webshop with a few hundred products in one language gets more from the self-serve tools below. They are free and you get an answer in minutes.

FAQs

Questions about the check

Still have questions?

Can't find the answer you're looking for? Please get in touch with our team.

Ask it in your email

Nothing. You send one file and spend 30 minutes on a call. We do it because one real file shows faster than any demo whether your data problem is one WISEPIM solves.

No. Send it the way it arrives from your supplier or leaves your ERP. Cleaning it first hides exactly the problems we are looking for.

CSV, Excel (XLS or XLSX) or XML, including a BMEcat export. One file with one product group is enough. If it is too large to email, send a part of the range or the first few thousand rows.

Yes, that is often the most useful file. It is your supplier's data, so check your agreement with them first, and remove anything you may not share.

The product data audit reads up to 10 public product pages of a live webshop and emails you an Excel report in about a minute. The readiness check is for a file before it goes anywhere, and a person goes through it with you.

No. The check is a diagnosis. We do not edit, translate or enrich your file, and nothing is sent to your dealers or channels.

It is a working session on your file. You get the findings whether or not you ever use WISEPIM, and if WISEPIM is not the right fit we say so.

Nothing, unless you want it to. If the findings point to WISEPIM, you can try it on your own data: import the same file into your own workspace, then follow field health and Channel Readiness while you fix it. Plans and prices are on the pricing page.

One file shows where you stand

Email the file you worry about most, then pick a time. You get the findings on your own rows, and what to fix first.
