PIM software for wholesale
PIM for Wholesalers
Messy supplier files in, complete dealer data out
Your suppliers send Excel price lists, CSV exports and BMEcat files. WISEPIM maps each supplier's columns once, fills the gaps with AI and gives your dealers, webshops and B2B portal complete data in their language.
Key features
Every supplier format
CSV, Excel, XML and BMEcat, with a saved mapping per supplier.
Normalized attributes
One unit, one spelling and one value list per field, with AI filling the gaps.
Data your dealers use
Brand Portals, BMEcat and channel feeds, plus your own B2B shop on Magento 2 or Shopify.
Why wholesalers look for a PIM
Where wholesale product data breaks
You sit in the middle of the chain. Data arrives from many suppliers in their format and leaves for dealers, webshops and your portal in theirs. Every gap in between turns into a phone call, a wrong order or a lost listing.

Every supplier sends a different file
One supplier mails an Excel price list, the next sends a BMEcat file, a third puts a CSV on an FTP server. Columns move, codes change and units differ, so someone rebuilds the import every time.
Supplier data arrives half complete
Short names, internal codes, empty attributes and one photo, if any. Filling the gaps product by product never ends, so incomplete articles go live anyway.
Three suppliers, three ways to write white
Supplier A writes RAL 9016, supplier B traffic white, supplier C just white. One sends lengths in mm, the next in cm. Your portal filter shows three whites where a buyer expects one, and articles from different suppliers cannot be compared.
Dealers publish last season's specs
How many of your dealers have the current specs online today? Without one place to fetch them, dealers copy your data once and never update it.
Incomplete data causes wrong orders
When your portal shows the wrong packaging unit or misses a dimension, buyers order the wrong article. You pay for the return, the reshipment and the call to customer service.
Every new country needs its language
Buyers in Belgium, Germany or France expect specs and descriptions in their own language. The translation quote grows with every supplier you add.
How WISEPIM solves it
What a wholesale PIM should do
Six jobs WISEPIM takes off your product data team, each backed by a feature you can use today.
Every supplier file, one import
Upload CSV, Excel, XML or BMEcat, or fetch files from a link your supplier keeps current. Each supplier's spreadsheet mapping is saved, and changed columns are flagged before anything is written. Stock and price lists can also arrive by FTP or SFTP for a Catalog Job to match on SKU, EAN or MPN.
The next delivery from a known supplier imports without remapping.
Attributes normalized and filled
Value lists, units and validation rules give every field one notation, and a supplier glossary teaches WISEPIM each supplier's codes. Make RAL 9016 the allowed value for color, and a Catalog Job only ever proposes values from that list. Anything it is unsure of waits in the Review queue.
Filters on your portal and webshop work across suppliers.
ETIM classes and BMEcat
Adopt ETIM classes as product families, read the ETIM features from a manufacturer's BMEcat file into your attributes, and publish BMEcat 2005 with ETIM to buyers who ask for it, pinned to the release they import.
Technical buyers get the classification they require.
A portal your dealers fetch from
Brand Portals give each dealer group a private, branded link to its range, with the columns you choose, an optional password, portal pricing rules, CSV or Excel downloads and PDF datasheets. The portal reads your live data, and every portal shows its view count, so you see which dealer groups actually use it.
Dealers stop asking you for the latest file.
Feeds and shops from one source
Feed Hub writes BMEcat, Google Shopping and comparison-site feeds per language and currency, and connectors push to Magento 2, Shopify and WooCommerce. From the Business plan, Quality Guard rules hold back articles without a packaging unit, weight or EAN from store exports and syncs.
An article without a packaging unit stays out of your B2B shop.
Every language your buyers read
AI translates names, descriptions and attribute values into 70+ languages, and brand names stay as they are. You review each language before feeds, portals and store views serve it.
A new country becomes a translation run, not an agency project.

In the product
One portal per dealer group
On one settings page you choose which categories and columns a dealer group sees, set a password, allow CSV or Excel downloads, show the import button and apply your portal pricing rules. Changes go live as soon as you save.
Who it's for
Built for wholesalers like you
WISEPIM fits best when you sit between many suppliers and many buyers, and the product data has to be right on both sides.
Built for you if
- You buy from dozens of suppliers, and each one sends price lists and product data in its own format.
- Your range is 5,000 SKUs or more, with technical attributes, variants and packaging units.
- You pass product data on to dealers, resellers or installers, or you run your own B2B portal or webshop.
- Your buyers are in 3 or more countries, or ask for data in 3 or more languages.
- Your ERP holds the article master, but the sellable content lives in spreadsheets and inboxes.
Probably not yet if
- You work with one or two suppliers in one language. A spreadsheet or the free plan covers that.
- You want suppliers to log in and edit your catalog. In WISEPIM your team imports and reviews supplier data. Suppliers have no login to change it.
- You must publish to a data pool such as GDSN or 2BA. WISEPIM builds the BMEcat file with ETIM, but does not publish to data pools.
Not sure? Run one supplier file through the free data readiness check, or bring it to a 30-minute demo, and we check the fit on your own data.
Compared
PIM versus ERP, spreadsheets and email
Your ERP stays the system of record for orders, stock and costs. The question is where supplier data gets cleaned up and where your dealers get it from.
| What you need | WISEPIM | ERP article master | Spreadsheets and email | Enterprise PIM suites |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Supplier files in any layout | Saved mapping per supplier, AI for unknown columns | Fixed import formats, often IT work | Copied and pasted by hand | Yes, often as a supplier onboarding module |
| Consistent, complete attributes | Value lists, units, AI to fill gaps, Review queue | Mostly logistics and finance fields | One spelling per supplier | Yes, with rules your team sets up |
| ETIM and BMEcat | ETIM classes, BMEcat 2005 in and out | Rarely built in | Typed in by hand | Usually, sometimes as a module |
| Dealers fetch data themselves | Brand Portal with downloads, datasheets and import | Through a B2B shop, if you run one | Sent on request | Often, as a portal module |
| Buyers in several languages | AI translation into 70+ languages, you review | Translations typed into fields | A file per language | Often a separate tool or add-on |
| Price | Published plans by product count, unlimited users | Already paid for | Free, paid in hours | Usually quoted on request |
WISEPIM has no ready-made ERP connector and does not publish to data pools such as GDSN or 2BA. ERP data comes in as CSV, Excel or XML exports, on a schedule with automations, or through the REST API on the Pro plan and up.

From supplier file to dealer data
Most wholesalers start with one supplier and one dealer group, then add the next. The time it takes depends mostly on how clean the supplier data is.
Import your messiest supplier file
First day
Pick the supplier behind the most returns or dealer questions, not the cleanest one. Upload its CSV, Excel, XML or BMEcat file as it arrives: known spreadsheet headers map by rule, AI proposes a field for the rest, and you save the mapping for that supplier's next delivery.
Normalize and complete one range
First week
Set value lists and units per attribute, group supplier rows into products with variants, and run a Catalog Job to fill empty attributes. Suggestions it is unsure of wait in the Review queue.
Give your dealers their first data
Then
Open a Brand Portal for one dealer group, publish a BMEcat feed in Feed Hub or push the range to your Magento 2 or Shopify store. Check Channel Readiness first, watch the portal's view count, then add the next supplier.
