Import from URL

Import products from any webshop A category URL is enough

Paste a category page, a sitemap or a list of URLs; WISEPIM walks the pagination and AI extracts every product it finds.

  • Three source types
  • Preview before the full run

Key features

  • Skip the connector

No app, no API key, no developer. If the page opens in a browser, WISEPIM can read it.

  • Walk the pagination

Point at one category page and WISEPIM follows page 2, 3, 4 until it has the whole product list.

  • Extract into real fields

Name, SKU, brand, price, description, images and attributes are mapped into product fields, not dumped as HTML.

Sources

Pick the source that fits the site

Every webshop is built differently, so there are three ways to point WISEPIM at a catalog and at least one of them always works.

  • Category page

Walks the pagination of a listing page. The reliable option for supplier and competitor sites with no usable sitemap.

  • Sitemap

Paste one product URL and WISEPIM crawls the site's sitemap for matching product links. Best for large, well-published catalogs.

  • Manual list

A newline-separated list of product URLs, scraped in order. The fallback when you already know which products you want.

How it works

From URL to catalog in three steps

No spreadsheets, no copy-pasting, no integration project, and a real product on screen before the full run starts.

  1. 01

    Paste a URL

Drop in a category page, the site's sitemap, or a list of product URLs. WISEPIM detects the product pattern and lists every match.

You can see how many products the source actually contains.

  2. 02

    Preview a sample

Run a one-click preview to see one real extracted product with its name, price, images and attributes before you commit to anything.

If the extraction misreads that page, you find out on one product, not on nine hundred.

  3. 03

    Start the import

Queue the full run. Each product is extracted in the background and added to your catalog, ready to enrich.

Scraped products land in the same catalog as your imports and follow the same rules.

Why scrape at all

Product data lands on a page first

A scrape turns that page into structured product data, and the cleanup wizard shows you what the page did not carry.

  • Start before the integration exists

Connectors and API access can take weeks, and some sources never publish a feed at all. A URL works today.

  • Reach sources a feed cannot

Supplier shops, brand sites, your own stores on other platforms: if it renders in a browser, WISEPIM can read it.

  • Know what did not come through

A page rarely carries every field. Cleanup groups the gaps by field so you can fill them in bulk rather than product by product.

Cleanup after a scrape: each row is a field the source pages never carried, with the number of products waiting on it.

Browser extension

Scrape from your own browser instead

Bot protection, logged-in supplier portals and JavaScript-heavy shops can all turn away a server-side crawler. The WISEPIM extension reads the page your own browser already rendered, so those catalogs stop being off-limits.

  • Reads the fully rendered page, so JavaScript-built listings come through intact
  • Works behind a login, supplier portals and dealer catalogs included
  • Grabs one product or a whole category page, with images, specs and the source URL
  • Available for Chrome, Edge and Firefox, plus Chromium browsers like Brave and Arc

Contact Support

No. Web scraping import works on any public webshop with no integration, app or API key. Paste a URL and WISEPIM does the rest. It cannot reach anything that needs a login on the server side; that is what the browser extension is for.

Three: a category or listing page, where the pagination is walked to find every product; the site's sitemap, crawled for matching product URLs; or a manual list of product URLs, one per line. A search-results page is not a supported source.

WISEPIM extracts the name, SKU, brand, price, description, images and attributes from each page. A live preview shows one real product before the full import so you can confirm the reading. What the page never printed cannot be extracted, and the post-import cleanup lists those gaps.

Use the WISEPIM browser extension for Chrome, Edge or Firefox. It reads the page your own browser already loaded, so bot protection and logged-in areas aren't in the way. You connect a browser to a project once, then import from any product or category page you have open.

Web scraping import is designed to help you build your own catalog from sources you have rights to, like supplier shops or your own stores on other platforms. Always check the source's terms of use and copyright before importing and reusing content.

Next step

Paste one URLand see what comes back

Run the preview on a single product page before you queue anything. It costs nothing and it tells you whether the source is worth the full run.
