At a glance
inriver pricing at a glance
inriver's old pricing address returns a 404 and its plans page lists four plans without prices. The page has a FAQ entry that asks why inriver does not show pricing, and the answer is to get in touch with an inriver representative. There is no free trial or free plan; the site offers a demo, described as a free consultation without commitment.
| Plan | Aimed at | Highlights named by inriver | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Foundation | Small and growing businesses | Entry-level PIM | On quote |
| Core | Mid-market | Syndication and a brand storefront | On quote |
| Professional | Larger businesses | Product relations and Digital Shelf Analytics | On quote |
| Enterprise | Multinationals | The most complete PIM, for global demands | On quote |
Third-party pricing data is thin. Vendr lists inriver without contract values, and the review sites we tried could not be loaded, so we do not repeat numbers from them. Any figure you see without a source should be treated with care.
Price drivers
What drives an inriver quote
inriver says every plan is fully customisable to the business buying it, and names several modules on its plans page: Inspire AI, Content Onboarding, Brand Store, Print & Publish, Syndicate Advance and Digital Shelf Analytics. Which plan you start on and which modules you add are the first two levers on price.
inriver also published a general guide to PIM software costs in March 2026. It lists the factors that move PIM pricing across the market: number of SKUs, users, integrations, data and asset volume, customisation, AI features, output channels and localisation. These describe the PIM market, not inriver's own rate card, but they make a good checklist for your inriver conversation.
Implementation
Implementation costs
inriver implementations run through partners, and inriver requires every partner working on an implementation to have certified experts on staff. No implementation prices are published. inriver's own cost guide gives market-wide estimates you can use for budgeting: data migration from $5,000 to $30,000 or more, integrations from $3,000 to $20,000 or more per integration, and at enterprise scale an implementation that can cost as much as, or more than, a year of licensing.
Quotes
How inriver quotes
You request a demo or contact a representative, and the plan is shaped around your needs. Come prepared with your SKU count, the number of users, your languages, every channel you publish to and the systems you need to integrate. Ask for the yearly price per plan and module, the contract length, the implementation estimate from a named partner, and the renewal terms, all in writing.
Budget
Budgeting your first inriver year
Because nothing is published, build your budget from the parts you can name. The first year of an inriver project usually has five layers, and only the first two come from inriver itself:
- The plan. Foundation, Core, Professional or Enterprise, as a yearly subscription.
- Modules. Inspire AI, Content Onboarding, Syndicate Advance, Digital Shelf Analytics and the other modules you add.
- Partner implementation. Data modelling, configuration and training by a certified partner.
- Integrations and migration. Connections to your ERP, ecommerce platform and marketplaces, plus moving your current data.
- Your own team. Time for data cleaning, testing and getting suppliers on board.
Ask the inriver representative and the partner to price each layer separately. That makes the quote comparable with other PIM vendors and with a SaaS PIM that publishes its plans.
Comparison
inriver pricing versus WISEPIM
WISEPIM publishes every price, so you can see the cost before you talk to anyone. The free plan covers 100 products. Paid plans start at €299 a month billed yearly for 1,000 products and go up to €1,499 a month for 50,000 products; larger catalogs get an Enterprise quote. AI enrichment and translation are included through monthly AI credits, a few cents per product depending on your plan, and there is no setup fee.
inriver's higher plans add product relations, content onboarding and digital shelf analytics, which suit teams with complex catalogs and many retail channels. WISEPIM focuses on getting product content written, translated and checked fast for webshops, marketplaces and feeds. Compare them in WISEPIM vs inriver and see all plans on WISEPIM pricing.

Works alongside
Using WISEPIM next to inriver
If inriver stays your PIM, WISEPIM can still take over the AI work. It reads entities over inriver's REST API or a CSV or JSON export, translates and enriches them in your brand voice and writes the values back to the same entities, so inriver's channel-readiness scoring picks them up. See AI for inriver, or browse other inriver alternatives.

Questions to ask before signing
- Which plan and modules does the quote include, and what does each cost per year?
- Which partner will implement, and what is their fixed-scope price?
- What happens to the price when your catalog or user count grows?
- How long is the contract, and how is the renewal price set?
- Can you export all product data in a standard format if you leave?
