At a glance

Salsify pricing at a glance

Salsify sells a product experience management (PXM) platform: product information management, syndication to retailers and marketplaces, an Intelligence Suite and Enhanced Content. It does not show prices for any of these. The old salsify.com/pricing address now redirects to the homepage, where the only call to action is a request for a personalised demo.

Treat the Vendr figures as a reference point, not a quote. They describe contracts Vendr has data on, and your price depends on the modules, volumes and services you buy. Review sites such as G2 and Capterra also list Salsify, but their pricing pages could not be loaded when we checked, so we do not repeat numbers from them here.

Price drivers

What drives the Salsify price

Salsify does not publish how it calculates a quote. What it does publish is the shape of its platform, and each part is a likely line on your proposal. Use these as the questions to get answered in writing:

  • Modules. Which of PIM, syndication, the Intelligence Suite and Enhanced Content are in the base price, and which are add-ons.
  • Catalog size. How many SKUs or products the contract covers and what happens when you grow past that number.
  • Users. How many seats are included, and whether suppliers or agencies count as users.
  • Destinations. Which retailer, marketplace and ecommerce connections are included, and the price of each extra one.
  • Services. Implementation, training and any managed services, which Salsify describes as value based.

Implementation

Implementation and onboarding costs

Salsify offers professional implementation services, onboarding support and training certification programs through its services team, and works with certified solution partners. Managed services are priced through your account manager. None of these services have public prices, so ask for them as separate lines with a fixed scope, a timeline and the number of hours included.

Factor in your own team's time too. A PXM rollout usually means mapping your data model, cleaning existing product data and connecting your ERP and ecommerce platform before the first channel goes live.

Quotes

How Salsify quotes

The route to a Salsify price is a demo request, followed by a proposal from the sales team. There is no self-serve plan, free trial or free tier on salsify.com. Before the demo, write down your SKU count, the number of people who will work in the system, your languages and every channel you publish to. Ask for the price per year, the contract length, what happens at renewal, and which parts of the quote are one-off and which recur.

Comparison

Salsify pricing versus WISEPIM

WISEPIM publishes every price. You can start on the free plan with 100 products, and paid plans run from €299 a month billed yearly for 1,000 products to €1,499 a month for 50,000 products. That top plan comes to €17,988 a year. AI enrichment and translation are included through monthly AI credits, which works out at a few cents per product depending on your plan.

This is not a like-for-like comparison. Salsify's strength is syndication to retailers and marketplaces, including GDSN, and WISEPIM does not replace that syndication. WISEPIM focuses on getting product content written, translated and checked quickly for your own webshop, marketplaces and feeds. If that is where your time goes, compare the two in our WISEPIM vs Salsify comparison and see the full plan list on WISEPIM pricing.

WISEPIM list prices in euros, excluding VAT. Visitors outside Europe see US dollars on the pricing page.

Works alongside

Using WISEPIM next to Salsify

Already on Salsify? You do not have to migrate to use WISEPIM. It connects over Salsify's API or scheduled exports, enriches and translates your records, and writes the values back to the same items, so your retailer syndication keeps running.
