Messy catalogs
Merge every source into one record One answer per SKU.
Supplier imports, a spreadsheet nobody owns and three spellings of one brand. WISEPIM merges them into a single record per SKU.
- 6 identifier types for matching
- 25+ bulk actions
- Auto-quarantine on failure
Key features
One record per SKU
Every source writes into the same product, matched on SKU, EAN, MPN or your own identifier, instead of creating a fourth copy.
Values cleaned on the way in
Import cleanup trims whitespace, fixes casing, converts number formats and maps units before the row is written to the catalog.
Rules that keep it clean
Quality Guard checks each product against your rules and quarantines the ones that fail instead of letting them reach a channel.
How a catalog gets here
Every source added its own version
Three habits turn a working catalog into one nobody trusts.
Every supplier has its own vocabulary
One sends "Colour: Navy", another "color: NAVY BLUE", a third puts it in the product name. All three land in your catalog as written.
Result: mapping and cleanup normalise the value before it is stored.
The same product exists twice
A re-import under a slightly different SKU creates a second product, and now two records disagree about price, stock and description.
Result: imports match on an identifier and update the existing record.
The truth lives in a spreadsheet
The real prices are in a file on someone's laptop, the webshop has last quarter's, and the marketplace has whatever was pasted in March.
Result: one catalog is the source, every channel reads from it.
How it works
Getting a catalog back under control
Four steps take scattered, contradictory product data to one record per SKU that stays that way.
01
Pull every source into one catalog
once per source
Import CSV, XML and Excel files, connect the shop and the marketplaces, and map each source's columns onto your own attributes once.
Every source writes into the same set of products.
02
Agree on units and codes once
Unit-of-measure code sets translate the supplier's "pcs", "ST" and "stuks" into one unit, so quantities and prices are comparable again.
Numbers that can be compared and calculated with.
03
Merge the duplicates and group the variants
Bulk actions group loose products into variants of one parent, remove the leftover links and clear the fields that no longer belong on a child.
One product page instead of five near-identical ones.
04
Stop it from coming back
runs on every import
Quality Guard runs your rules on every import and edit, and holds the products that fail in quarantine until someone fixes or releases them.
A broken row never reaches a sales channel unnoticed.
One record per product
The page everybody works from
Attributes, media, relationships, channel status and history sit on the same record, so there is nothing to reconcile afterwards.
Every field in one place
Specs, pricing, stock, media and the SEO fields live on the product itself, not spread over three systems and a spreadsheet.
History per change
Each edit records who changed which field and when, so "who set this price" is a question with an answer.
Channel state on the record
You can see which channels the product is published to and which of them rejected it, without opening each channel's back office.
What the cleanup covers
Corrections you would otherwise do by hand
Each one is a bulk action or an import step, applied to a selection rather than a product.
Text normalisation
Trim stray whitespace, standardise casing, and find and replace across a field on a whole selection.
Numbers and units
Convert comma and point decimals, recalculate values, and map supplier unit codes onto your own.
Categories and relations
Assign, replace or remove categories in bulk, set the primary category, and clear links that point nowhere.
Vocabulary enforcement
Apply a dictionary so the same attribute value is written the same way on every product that carries it.
