Merchant Center issue
Fix product page unavailable in Merchant Center
Every product you send to Google points to a landing page through link, link_template or mobile_link. When Google cannot reach that page, Merchant Center flags "Product page unavailable" and the product stops showing. The cause is usually on your website or in the URLs you submit, not in the rest of your product data. This page walks through the causes and how to test and fix them.

Short answer
Test an affected URL with the URL Inspection Tool. If the page fails, fix the website: 404s, more than 2 redirects, server errors, DNS or robots.txt. If the page works, the submitted link is wrong: correct link and mobile_link per product or in bulk with a CSV. Then request a website check, which can take up to 12 hours.

What this issue means
Google needs to open the landing page of every product it shows. When the page in link, link_template or mobile_link cannot be reached, Google disables those products until it can access the page again. URLs must start with http:// or https://, use your verified domain, and encode special symbols (a comma becomes %2C). If you use regional availability, the region_id URLs must be crawlable too.
A related issue, "Unable to check product pages", points to the same kind of problem: check that your robots.txt lets Google's crawler reach your landing pages.

Common causes
- The page returns a 404 because the product was removed or its URL changed.
- The URL goes through more than 2 redirects.
- Google could not connect, or the server returned an HTTP 5xx error.
- Google could not access your robots.txt file.
- The hostname could not be resolved because of a DNS problem.
- The URL does not start with http:// or https://, uses a domain other than your verified one, or has special symbols that are not URL-encoded.
How to fix it, step by step
- In Merchant Center, open Products and the Needs attention tab, and filter on this issue to see every affected product.
- Copy the landing page URL of a few affected products and test them with the URL Inspection Tool, on desktop or smartphone.
- If the test fails, fix the website: restore or redirect removed pages, cut redirect chains to 2 or fewer, solve server errors, and check DNS and robots.txt.
- If the site works, the submitted links are the problem. Open the product, choose Edit product, correct link (and mobile_link if you use it) and save.
- For many products: download the affected products as a CSV file, correct the URLs in your product data and upload them with your usual method.
- Check that every URL starts with http:// or https://, uses your verified domain and has special symbols URL-encoded.
- Request a website check once the pages work. It can take up to 12 hours and you cannot send a new request meanwhile. Otherwise the errors should clear within a couple of days.

Check a product against Google Shopping rules
Enter one product's title, description, price, GTIN and image link. The checker lists the errors and warnings Merchant Center's core requirements would raise, before you upload.
How to prevent it
- Keep your website available and monitor it for server errors and DNS problems.
- Keep redirects to 2 or fewer, and update product links after a URL structure change.
- Give every new product a public landing page before you send it to Google.
- Remove products from your feed when you take their pages offline, so they do not keep pointing at dead URLs.
How WISEPIM helps
WISEPIM does not crawl landing pages or test URLs, so a broken page on your website has to be fixed there. What the Merchant Center connection does is send the product URL from your store data with every product: title, link and price are required before a product can be exported, and a product without a SKU is not exported at all.
When auto-sync is on, deletes and SKU renames in WISEPIM are pushed to Google, so products you remove do not linger in Merchant Center pointing at pages that no longer exist.
