Native FAQs in your PIM

Product FAQs on every product page written from your data

Add product FAQs that answer what buyers ask before they order. Write them yourself or let WISEPIM AI draft them from your data, share answers across a category, and export them to your store with FAQ schema.

  • Up to 50 questions per product
  • FAQPage schema on export
  • Never duplicated on re-export

Key features

  • Answers backed by your data

Every AI answer cites a product field, attribute or web research. Angles your data can't support are skipped, not guessed.

  • Write once per category

Category questions are added to every product directly in that category, after the product's own.

  • Ready for your storefront

A native HTML block with FAQPage schema, plus structured data for Shopify, WooCommerce and Magento 2.

Why product FAQs

Answer the doubts that stall an order

Buyers who can't find out whether something fits, works with what they own or survives a wash either ask your support team or leave. A short FAQ on the product page answers them where they decide.

  • Fewer repeat questions for support

Fit, compatibility, care and what's in the box are answered on the page, so shoppers don't have to email or chat to ask.

  • Doubts answered before checkout

The answer sits next to the product instead of on a help page, so a buyer doesn't leave to look it up somewhere else.

  • Answers search and AI can read

The answers are text on the product page, not a link to a help center, and FAQPage markup labels each question and answer for search engines and AI shopping assistants.

How it works

From first question to storefront

Four steps, and the last one happens on every export without extra mapping.

  1. 01

    Write or generate questions

Add questions in the product's FAQs tab, or select products and generate FAQs with WISEPIM AI from their fields, attributes and web research.

An ordered list of questions, each tagged with the topic it covers.

  2. 02

    Share answers through categories

Put questions that apply to a whole range, such as warranty or returns, on the category once.

Every product directly in that category shows them after its own questions.

  3. 03

    Check the shopper view

Switch the FAQs tab to Shopper view to see the block as your storefront renders it, on desktop or mobile.

No surprises in layout, order or duplicates before anything goes live.

  4. 04

    Export to your store

On export, WISEPIM appends the FAQ block to the description and sends the questions as structured data where the platform supports it.

Live product FAQs with FAQPage schema, replaced in place on every re-export.

Industry-aware question types

The questions your buyers actually ask

WISEPIM AI writes to question types picked for your industry. When your data can't back an answer, it leaves that question out instead of guessing.

  • Fashion: sizing and fit

    Buyer asks

“I'm between two sizes. Which one should I order?”

    What WISEPIM does

Fashion projects get Sizing and fit and Fabric and feel as question types. The answer comes from your size and fit data, and the question is skipped when nothing backs it up.

  • Electronics: battery and connectivity

    Buyer asks

“Does it charge fast, and is a charger included?”

    What WISEPIM does

Electronics projects get Battery and power, Connectivity and Software and apps. Each answer shows the fields or research it was written from.

  • Food: allergens

    Buyer asks

“Is this suitable for someone with a nut allergy?”

    What WISEPIM does

Food projects get Allergens, Storage and shelf life and Nutrition. When neither your product data nor web research mentions allergens, there is no allergen answer.

  • Furniture: assembly and space

    Buyer asks

“How long does assembly take, and will it fit my hallway?”

    What WISEPIM does

Furniture projects get Assembly and Space and dimensions. Store rules such as delivery or returns are never invented: you write those once on a category.

Category FAQs and shopper view

Write shared answers once per category

Warranty, returns and care questions often apply to a whole range. Add them to the category, and every product directly in it shows them after its own questions.

  • The product's own answers come first

Category questions follow the product's questions, and one that repeats a question the product already has is hidden.

  • You decide when a product has enough

Switch category FAQs off for a single product, or stop adding them once a product has a set number of its own.

  • See it the way shoppers will

Shopper view renders the block like your storefront, on desktop or mobile, and shows the storefront HTML that gets exported.

Shopper view: the product's questions first, then the ones its category adds, marked with where they came from.

Export

One block, plus data your theme can use

On export, WISEPIM appends a native FAQ block to the description and sends the same questions as structured data. Re-exporting replaces the block, so it never shows up twice.

What each store receives

  • Shopify

The FAQ block in the product description, plus two JSON metafields.

    Questions and answers
    wisepim.faqs
    FAQPage JSON-LD
    wisepim.faq_schema

    Metafields carry your main language.

  • WooCommerce

The FAQ block in the description, plus two product meta keys, per language.

    Questions and answers
    wisepim_faqs
    FAQPage JSON-LD
    wisepim_faq_schema
  • Magento 2

The FAQ block in the description, plus a product attribute per store view.

    Questions and answers as JSON
    wisepim_faqs

Add the wisepim_faqs attribute to your attribute set first.

Every other channel gets the format it can show

  • HTML block

Web shops and file exports that render description HTML.

Lightspeed, CCV Shop, PrestaShop, CSV and Excel exports

  • Plain text

Channels that strip HTML get the questions and answers as text.

ChatGPT, Copilot and Perplexity shopping feeds

  • Not sent

Channels that accept product text only keep a clean description.

Google Merchant Center, shopping ads and comparison sites

FAQ settings

Set the rules once for your catalog

Decide in one place when category FAQs stop, what each channel receives and how the block looks. The live preview shows every change before you save.

  • Category FAQs that know when to stop

Stop adding category questions once a product has enough of its own, and choose whether new categories share their FAQs.

  • A format per channel

Every channel starts from what it renders best. Override one when your theme needs something else, and switch Shopify metafields or WooCommerce meta on or off.

  • Preview before you save

See the block in your storefront layout and in each language, with sample questions or a real product.

Bulk generation

Bulk runs without reviewing every product

Generate FAQs for a whole selection of products and decide up front what happens to the suggestions. Runs of more than 20 products start with the safe option.

When suggestions are ready

  1. Review every suggestion

Each suggestion waits in the product's FAQs tab until you accept, edit or dismiss it.

  2. Recommended for bulk runs

    Add the safe ones automatically

Suggestions that pass your rules go live right away. The rest wait in the FAQs tab with the reason.

  3. Add everything automatically

Every suggestion is saved as soon as it's ready. Pick this once you trust the output.

What counts as safe

  • Adds, never replaces

Runs that replace a product's FAQs always wait for you.

  • Isn't a duplicate

It doesn't repeat a question the product already shows, its own or one from a category.

  • Cites its sources

Every answer added without review points to product data or web research.

  • Stays under your limit

Optionally stop once a product has enough questions of its own.

Undo a whole run

Changed your mind? Undo the run from its task page. Products edited since the run are left alone.

After a run: what was added, what waits for review and why, and one button to undo it.

Everything in the box

Built for real catalogs

The details that keep FAQs accurate across languages, channels and teams.

  • Rich, short answers

Bold, italics, lists and links in answers. Questions stay plain text, so they render cleanly everywhere.

  • Ordered by you

Move questions up or down to put the most common doubt first. Up to 50 per product or category.

  • Translated with the product

Translation runs include FAQs. Until a question is translated, shoppers see the original instead of a gap.

  • Your own FAQ prompt

Save an FAQ prompt in Prompt Lab with your instructions, tone, question types and number of questions.

  • Coverage at a glance

See which question types a product covers, filter products with no FAQs, and spot them in data quality.

  • Layout that fits your theme

Accordion, question list or headings, with your heading per language and your theme's own styling.

  • Safe re-imports

Imports strip the exported block from descriptions, so FAQs never pile up after a round trip.

  • Part of your workflows

Add FAQ generation to a workflow before translation, so new questions are translated in the same run.

  • Edit rights per role

Custom roles can be allowed or blocked from editing FAQs, like any other product field.

Yes, as content. Google stopped showing FAQ rich results in May 2026, so the markup no longer earns a special listing. The questions and answers are still visible text on your product page, which buyers read and search engines index, and the FAQPage markup labels each pair for crawlers and AI assistants that read structured data.

At the end of the product description, as a native HTML block: an accordion, a question list or headings, whichever you pick. Shopify and WooCommerce also receive the questions and a FAQPage JSON-LD object as metafields or product meta, and Magento 2 receives them in the wisepim_faqs attribute.

Each generated answer must cite the product fields, attributes or web research it was written from, and answers without a valid source are dropped. Question types your data can't support are skipped. Store policies such as shipping and returns are never generated: you write those yourself, once, on a category.

No. Every export replaces the previous FAQ block instead of adding a second one, and imports strip the block from descriptions. When you import a store into a new project, products that had a WISEPIM FAQ block get their questions back as FAQs.

A category with FAQs switched on adds its questions to every product directly in it, after the product's own questions. Subcategories don't inherit them. You can switch category FAQs off per product, or stop adding them once a product has enough questions of its own.

Yes. FAQs are part of product translation, so a translation run covers the questions and answers too, and you can translate missing ones with AI from the FAQs tab. Until a question is translated, shoppers see it in the original language.

Generating FAQs uses AI credits per product, and a product that fails is refunded. Writing, editing, sharing and exporting FAQs yourself uses no credits.

Yes. Open the run's task page and undo it: every product the run changed goes back to the FAQs it had before. Products someone edited after the run are skipped, so their newer changes stay.
