How Etsy fees work

Etsy charges USD 0.20 to list an item for four months, and again for each extra unit sold from the same listing. When the item sells, the transaction fee is 6.5% of the item price plus the shipping and gift wrap you charge.

Payment processing depends on where your bank account is. A US shop pays 3% plus USD 0.25 per order; shops in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and France pay 4% plus EUR 0.30. Processing is charged on the full order, including shipping and tax. French shops also pay a Regulatory Operating fee of 1.14%.

If a sale comes from an Offsite Ad, Etsy charges 15%, or 12% once your shop has passed USD 10,000 in sales in a year. For US shops that fee never exceeds USD 100 per order.
