SKU
Yes
SKUYour own unique code for the product or variant. It is the key every import, update and channel uses to match rows, so never reuse one.
Product name
Yes
NameThe product name your buyers search for. Keep it the same as in your shop so orders match.
EANEANThe 13-digit barcode number (GTIN). Marketplaces and Google use it to identify the product. The examples use the 200 prefix, which is for internal use only.

Wholesale price
Yes
Map by handYour net price per order unit, excluding VAT. Use a dot as the decimal separator in the CSV.
VAT %Map by handThe VAT rate that applies to the product, as a number (20 for 20%). The example uses the standard rate of the country.
Wholesale incl. VATMap by handThe wholesale price plus VAT. A formula in the Excel file, so it updates when you change the price or the rate.
Recommended retail pricePriceThe consumer price you advise, including VAT. In WISEPIM it becomes the product's selling price.
CurrencyMap by handThree-letter ISO 4217 code, such as EUR, GBP or USD.
Valid fromMap by handFirst day the price applies, as YYYY-MM-DD. Send a new list instead of editing an old one, so buyers can tell versions apart.

Frequently asked questions

What belongs on a wholesale price list?

For each product: an article number, the name, the EAN, the order unit, the minimum order quantity, your net price and the VAT rate. Add the recommended retail price so resellers see their margin, and a start date so everyone knows which version applies.

Should prices include or exclude VAT?

Business buyers compare prices excluding VAT, so the net price is the main column. The template adds the price including VAT as a formula, and the recommended retail price is a consumer price, so it includes VAT.

How do I update prices without confusing buyers?

Send a new list with a new Valid from date instead of editing the old file. Buyers can then tell versions apart, and you keep a history of every price change.

Can I import the price list into WISEPIM?

Yes. Article number, name, EAN and recommended retail price map themselves on import; the recommended retail price becomes the product's selling price. Columns like order unit or minimum order quantity can be mapped by hand to your own attributes.
